HRAMOTY:

SAVE THE DATE:

The Sixth Annual Women’s Retreat “Good Thoughts & Internal Peace” will be held this year at The Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation Retreat Center in Carey, Ohio. The retreat will be held on Friday, March 2 through March 4, 2018. Retreat master is father Marek Visnovsky. Watch the bulletin for further information.

CONCERT:

Saints Peter & Paul Church, 421 Covington St. in Youngstown is committed to provide the Mahoning Valley community with engaging events that celebrate our cultural heritage. They are excited to announce their upcoming concert which features Violinist Wanda Sobieska from Warsaw, Poland. The concert will also feature musicians from The Dana School of Music. It will be held on January 26, 2018, 7:00 pm at the church, with a social to follow in the adjoining community hall.

We would like to thank Mary Novak, Mary Sinowski and Anna Mamone for baking the delicious Kolachi for our Altar and Rosary Society Bake Sale and to Elaine Chachko for organizing this event. Sponsored by the Altar & Rosary Society and GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project, Saturday December 16^th and Sunday December 17^th following Divine Liturgy will be the annual delicious bake sale.  Contributions for other baked desserts are also appreciated.

You may pick-up your reserved Kolachi at that time.

The Benedictine Sisters of Byzantine Church at Queen of

Heaven Monastery, Warren, Ohio, is offering a Day of Spirituality in preparation for Christmas on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1:00-4:30 pm.  It will be held at SS. We will decorate the church for Christmas on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:00 am. A light lunch will be provided. There will be a sign-up sheet in the vestibule.  Everyone is invited to come spend a wonderful morning.

MAINTENANCE MAN:

St. Nicholas is looking for a maintenance man to care for the church, rectory, cemetery (not mowing the grass) and the Social hall. The job will be paid hourly.  If anyone is interested, please contact Father Michael.

ANNIVERSARY BLESSING:

This Sunday after liturgy Father Michael will be giving a special blessing to all married couples who are celebrating November anniversaries.
