GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project: Congratulations to our last winner of $50, Jeff Walsh. Jeff was very kind and donated his winnings back to GCU Lodge 442. Thank you Jeff for your generosity. Again, Congratulations to all of our winners.

 

Flag Day: Flag Day will be celebrated on June 11, 2017 following 9:00 a.m. Sunday Liturgy with a ceremony and light lunch. This day is sponsored by our GCU Lodge 442. If you have a new flag you wish to have blessed, you are welcome to bring it. Special guest will be GCU Lodge 252 from St. Nicholas.

 

Food Fest Meeting: The next Food Fest meeting will be held on June 6th, 2017 at 6:30pm at St. Michaels in Campbell. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. 

Maintenance Update: Starting in June, the flat roofs on the Church will be removed and replaced by Holtz and Sons Roofing for a cost of $32,500. Your generosity in giving to the maintenance envelope will help defray the cost.

 

Food Fest Announcement: Our 2nd Annual Food Fest will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 11am-4pm at St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church on Robinson road in Campbell. The menu will be Holupki, Haluski, Kolbasi & Sauerkraut and Pirohy. There will also be a bake sale & music. We would love your help and/or patronage to make this another great event. WE ARE LOOKING FOR BAKERS FOR OUR BAKE SALE!!! There will be sign-up sheets in the vestibule coming in June.

 

Altar and Rosary Society: REMINDER, EVERYONE is invited to enjoy coffee and donuts on June 4, 2017 following 9:00am Liturgy. This social is sponsored by the Altar and Rosary Society and their 2nd Quarter meeting will follow.

 

Kennywood: Summer is here; mark your calendars for Kennywood. Kennywood will be Thursday July 27. Again, this year Infant Jesus of Prague will be paying for the bus, therefor the bus ride is free. Sign-up sheets and cost for tickets will be forthcoming.

 

Attention: The First Communion Pictures are in the Sacristy. Please come and pick them up.

Parishioner News: Congratulations to our College and High School Graduates.

Today, we celebrate our High School Graduates Maddie Krawsnasky, Stephen Stanko (From Boardman High School) and Elena Slemons (From Canfield High School).

Maddie will be attending Youngstown State University majoring in Early Childhood Education. Stephen will be attending Youngstown State University majoring in Finance. Elena will be attending The Ohio State University majoring in Sports Industry (Business).

Also, Nicholas Dubos who graduated from Duquesne University with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Nick will be a Pharmacist for Rite-Aid.

Congratulations to all our graduates and may God continue to bless them in the next stage of their lives.

 

Attention: This past week our parishioner Edward (Charles) Botsko passed away. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. May God grant to his servant Edward (Charles) eternal memory.

 

Sanctuary Candles: The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The cost is $10. There are two Sanctuary candles so more than one intention may be given. This week’s Sanctuary Candle is for the Memory of John Lesko from Tom and Joyce Lesko.
