52^nd Annual Assumption Pilgrimage: The 52^nd Annual Assumption Pilgrimage will be held August 13-15, 2017 at the Basilica and National Shrines of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson, Ohio. The Feast of the Assumption will be on Tuesday, August 15^th.

 

Pilgrimage for Peace: The Pilgrimage for Peace Transfigured by Peace will be at Holy Dormition Byzantine Franciscan Friary in Sybertsville, Pennsylvanis on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 10:00am-6:00pm.

 

Kennywood: Kennywood Day will be Thursday July 27, 2017. As stated, the bus is free; Infant Jesus is paying for it. There are sign-up sheets in the vestibule for your tickets. The cost is also on the sign-up sheet. The ticket costs are: Funday Ticket (ages 3-54) – $24.00, Senior Funday Ticket (age 55+) – $14.00, Super Senior Funday Ticket (age 70+) – $9.99, Catered Lunch (age 11+) – $15.00, Jr. Catered Lunch (ages 3-10) – $8.00. There is no charge for guests ages 2 and under.

 

Food Fest Announcement: Thank you to all of our volunteers for all of your help during our Food Fest. A big Thank You to St. Michaels and Fr. Kevin for letting us use their hall. Within the coming weeks we will have a complete breakdown of the Food Fest.

 

Byzantine Social Club: The Byzantine Social Club members Steak Fry will be Wednesday June 28^th at 6:00 p.m. in the Church Pavilion. Bring your own steaks (or whatever you choose to grill). Group B is in charge and will provide paper products, side dishes, and refreshments.

 

Update on Summer Vacation School: St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Campbell is holding a summer vacation Bible School. It will be held Monday July 17- Friday July 21 from 9am-12 noon each day. The theme of VBS will be “Maker Fun Factory: Created by God, Built for a Purpose.” It will be centralized around our Byzantine Catholic Faith and traditions as well. Sign-up sheets will be in the vestibule.

 

Attention: Just a reminder, all couples celebrating June Anniversary’s will receive a special blessing from Fr. Michael after liturgy this Sunday.

 

Sanctuary Candles: The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The cost is $10. There are two Sanctuary candles so more than one intention may be given. This week’s sanctuary candles are for Mike Virostek Sr from Mike Virostek Jr.
