Please Pray For the Health & Well-Being Of Our Parishioners:

Thomas Urdea ,Richard Kuty, Margaret Arvin, Louise Macabobby, Anne Anos and Eleanore Timko Patricia Flaherty all at home and the rest of our parishioners who are in nursing homes and at home convalescing.  May God grant to all the sick of our parish many blessed, happy and healthy years ATTENTION: If any parishioner or family member is ill & would like to be on the pray list please call Karen or Kathy Kollar @330-726-8597. We would like to send GET WELL wishes.

 

Flag Day: Reminder-today we are celebrating Flag Day. A ceremony & light lunch will be held after 9am liturgy. If you bring your new flag, Fr. Michael will bless it. This beautiful day is sponsored by our GCU lodge 442. We welcome all members from GCU lodge 252 of St. Nicholas.

 

Maintenance Update: Starting in June, the flat roofs on the Church will be removed and replaced by Holtz and Sons Roofing for a cost of $32,500. Your generosity in giving to the maintenance envelope will help defray the cost.

 

Kennywood: Summer is here; mark your calendars for Kennywood. Kennywood will be Thursday July 27. Again, this year Infant Jesus of Prague will be paying for the bus, therefor the bus ride is free. Sign-up sheets and cost for tickets will be forthcoming.

 

Food Fest Announcement: Our 2nd Annual Food Fest is quickly approaching. As stated, it is on June 24, 2017 from 11:00am-4:00pm at St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic church on Robinson Road in Campbell, Ohio. The menu will be Halupki, Haluski, Kolbasi & Sauerkraut and Pirohy. WE NEED YOUR HELP! There are sign-up sheets to volunteer to help that day in the vestibule—to work&/or bake. We also have extra flyers, so please feel free to take & give to family, friends, etc. We hope we can have another successful food fest.

 

Congratulations: Special congratulations to Evan James Bero, son of Andrew & Christine Bero, who is Baptised this Sunday. May God Grant Evan James and his family peace, health and happiness.

 

Simply Slavic: Simply Slavic will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in downtown Youngstown. The Carpatho-Rusyn society of Youngstown will have an ethnic food booth (dumpling Haluski) and heritage booth. Come join the fun & Eastern Europe entertainment. There will be free parking at the Covelli Center.

 

Sanctuary Candles: The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The cost is $10. There are two Sanctuary candles so more than one intention may be given.
