BAPTISM UPDATE/REMINDER
The deadline to sign up for the Baptism dinner for Emma Sofia is THIS Sunday March 4, 2018.
EASTER CANDY DAY:
GCU 442 will be giving Easter Candy to all children 14 and under on March 25, 2018. A sign-up sheet is on the vestibule table. All children are welcome to participate.
EASTER (PASKA) BREAD:
We will be baking and selling Paska Bread for this Easter. Plain and with Raisin will both be $8.00 each. Pick up will be on Wednesday March 28th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Infant Jesus. Order forms are on the vestibule table. Deadline to order is March 23.
We are also asking for volunteers and /or donations to help make the bread on Monday March 26th and Tuesday March 27th. Sign-up sheet is also on the vestibule table.
ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY:
The Altar & Rosary Society will be sponsoring coffee and donuts after 9:00a.m. Liturgy on March 4, 2018. A meeting will follow with election of new officers. If interested in joining, the cost is $5.00 a year. All parishioners are welcome for coffee and donuts, and are encouraged to join this wonderful association.
THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH, THE ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY PRAY THE ROSARY AT 8:30a.m.
FEED OUR VALLEY:
GCU 442 and the Byzantine Social Club are sponsoring “Feed Our Valley” to help the Second Harvest Food Bank. Collection of food will be from March 4th to April 15th.
BYZANTINE SOCIAL CLUB:
Communion Brunch for social club members will be on Sunday, March 18 at Eat N Park Restaurant on Market Street, Boardman. Group B is in charge. Let us know if you will be attending by calling Mary Novak @(330) 757-4641 or Sharon Mulichak @ (330) 207-8412. We have the space reserved at 11:30 and will eat after Father Michael finishes mass at St Nicholas. Hope to see all members there.
GCU JUNIOR BOWLING TOURNAMENT:
The annual Junior Bowling Tournament will be held on Sunday March, 18th at Camelot Lanes in Boardman. All children 5-18 years old are welcome. There is no charge and a light lunch with prizes will follow. Sign-in starts at 12:30 and bowling will begin at 1:00p.m. A sign-up sheet and applications will be available also in the vestibule.
SANCTUARY CANDLES:
The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The left & right candles are for the health &well-being of David & Michael J. Hritz from the Hritz family
