CONDOLENCES:

GCU LODGE 164 MEETING:

Congratulations to Rachel (Stanko) and Kyle Sheehan on the arrival of their new born son, Harrison Lee Sheehan, born October 15th @ 8;26 pm, 7 pounds, 12 ounces, 20.25 inches long.  All are home and doing well. May God Bless the Sheehan family!!!

CCD CLASSES: Reminder

Registration will be held at the Byzantine Center at the Grove on Tuesday, September 25 at 6:30 pm. with a prayer service for CCD classes 2018-2019,  which will be held every Tuesday. We encourage parents and students grade 1-12 and adults to attend and receive a greater knowledge of our Faith. All parishioners and friend are welcome.

 

ANNUAL PARISH DINNER:

Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 12:15 pm will be our annual parish dinner at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave., Boardman, Ohio.  Buffet Dinner includes: sliced

roast beef au jus, baked bone-in lemon pepper chicken, scalloped potatoes, California vegetable medley, garden salad and dressing, warm rolls and butter, dessert parfait, and freshly brewed coffee, iced tea, hot tea, sodas and ice water.

$20.00 for adults,

$12.00 for kids 4-10 or $10.00

for the kids menu.

PITTSBURGH BYZANTINE CATHOLIC ARCHEPARCHIAL CHOIR:

The choir will be performing at St. Michael’s church in Campbell, Ohio, on Sunday,

September 30, 2018, where they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary season.

The social club will be having a corn roast September 12, 2018 with Group A in charge. The event will be @ 6:00 pm in the church pavilion. New members are welcome to join a fun night with fellow parishioners and delicious food.

CARPATHO-RUSYN SOCIETY: VATRA:

All are invited to attend the Vatra Bonfire Fest on Saturday, September 15, 2018 for fun, food, singing and socializing like our Slavic ancestors did in the Carpathian Mountains. This event will be held on the grounds of Infant Jesus of Prague Church.

Our summer fundraiser will end on Labor Day, September 3rd. We appreciate any and all donations given. The last week in September is tentatively set.

 

3RD QUARTER GCU LODGE AND ALTAR & ROSARY SOCIETY:
