CONGRATULATIONS:
We were just informed and want to congratulate Stephen Stanko for the 1st place finish at the Canfield Fair for his Kolachi, which he used his grandmother’s recipe. Great job Stephen! Would you like to take orders?
SOCIAL REMINDER:
A coffee and donut social will be held, this Sunday, October 28, 2018 following Sunday liturgy. All parishioners, family and friends are invited to stop by and socialize. The 4th quarter GCU Meeting for Lodge 442 will follow. All GCU members are urged to attend for election of officers.
ELECTION DAY:
Baked goods and ethnic food sale, Tuesday, November 6th from 6am-1pm at Byzantine Center at the Grove. Stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut, wedding soup and more (for eat-in or carry out) along with a great selection of baked goods. Please help by providing baked goods for the bake sale and/or volunteering your time the day of the event. Baked good may be dropped off on Monday, November 5th between 3pm-5pm or Tuesday morning by 9am. SOCIAL CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY:
This year’s annual party will be held at the Holiday Inn Boardman Banquet Center, on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
Menu choices include:
Stuffed Chicken Florentine,
Grilled Fillet of Salmon, or
London Broil
Main course will be served with Garden Salad, Green Beans with Red Peppers, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Rolls/Butter, Coffee, Tea and Iced Tea.
Desert will be Crème De Mint Chocolate Parfait
Cost is $22.00/person and the sign-up sheet and pre-pay envelopes are located in the church vestibule. Please respond by November 25, 2018! Thank you and hope to see all parishioners there!
SANCTUARY CANDLES:
