PLEASE PRAY FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR PARISHIONERS: Sophie Cimino at Omni West Assisted Living, Thomas Urdea at Shepard of the Valley on Western Reserve Rd, and Richard Kuty, Margaret Arvin, Louise Macabobby, Anne Anos, Pearl Tablack, Karen Kollar and Patricia Flaherty all at home convalescing, and the rest of our parishioners who are in nursing homes.  May God grant to all the sick of our parish many blessed, happy and healthier years.

SPIRITUAL RETREAT:

Father Michael will be out of town October 8-11, 2018 for a spiritual retreat. If there is an emergency please contact him via cell phone- (412)-722-4670.

BYZANTINE SOCIAL CLUB:

The Byzantine Social Club will hold their October meeting at Eat-N-Park on Market Street in Boardman on October 21, 2018 @ Noon. We will order off the menu starting at 12:30.

CCD CLASSES:  REMINDER

 CCD classes have resumed on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm at Byzantine at the Grove for all children K-12 grades. All students are encouraged to attend and learn more about our Faith. Also, all adult parishioners are welcomed Adult Enrichment class. See you Tuesday!!!!!

ANNUAL PARISH DINNER:

Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 12:15 pm will be our annual parish dinner at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave., Boardman, Ohio.  Buffet Dinner includes: sliced

roast beef au jus, baked bone-in lemon pepper chicken, scalloped potatoes, California vegetable medley, garden salad and dressing, warm rolls and butter, dessert parfait, and freshly brewed coffee, iced tea, hot tea, sodas and ice water.

$20.00 for adults,

$12.00 for kids 4-10 or $10.00

for the kids menu.

Please sign up and pre-pay by October 1^st and make checks payable to the Altar & Rosary Society.

MICHAEL BYZANTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH CHINESE AUCTION:

42^ND annual Chinese auction will be October 7,   2018 at:

St. Michael’s Center

2140 Highland Road

Hermitage, PA

Doors open at 1:00 pm and drawing starts at 2:15 pm. Admission donation and lunch = $5.00, and includes 1 free tear sheet. Extra tear sheets = $1.00 each or 7 for $5.00. Special raffles and grand prize raffle.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The Left Candle is for Tillie Chachko from Family and the Right is in memory of +Katherine & +Joseph Pavlov Sr. from Mary Beth Hayer & Janice & David Hartzell.
