St. Michael’s Civic Club is sponsoring their annual Steak Fry on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Michael’s Hall, 405 Robinson Road, Campbell. Tickets are $15.00 and available at the door. There will also be a cash bar & raffles & Chinese auction. The time is from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

meeting will be held immediately thereafter.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the Christmas Bake Sale. $1238.00 was raised for the Altar and Rosary Society of this parish and the GCU Lodge 422 Matching Funds Project. May God Bless all of those who continue to support this church and church organizations.

ARTS & CULTURE:

St. Peter & Paul Church is hosting the New Music Winter Festival on Friday, December 7th at 7:00 pm, located at 421 Covington St., Youngstown, Ohio. All are welcome for wonderful music and for reflection of the spirit of the arts, with refreshments to follow the program. (Covington St. starts at the intersection of W. Rayen Ave. and W. Federal St. The church is about one block north of the intersection.)

 

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY:

Sunday, December 16th after 9:00 am Liturgy will be the children’s Christmas party, with a light lunch and beverages being served with a “jolly” visit from St. Nicholas. Please sign up in the vestibule by December 9, 2018.

The Benedictine Sisters of the Byzantine Church at Queen of Heaven Monastery, Warren, Ohio are offering a Day of Spirituality in preparation for the Nativity of Christ, on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1:30 pm to 4:15pm at St. Peter and Paul Parish Center, located at 180 Belvedere Ave., N.E., Warren, Ohio.  This Monday, November 19th begins Philipovka, which is a Christmas fast to prepare for the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
