SOCIAL CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY:
This year’s annual party will be held at the
Holiday Inn Boardman Banquet Center, on Sunday,
December 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
Menu choices include:
Stuffed Chicken Florentine,
Grilled Fillet of Salmon, or
London Broil
Main course will be served with Garden Salad, Green Beans with Red Peppers, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Rolls/Butter, Coffee, Tea and Iced Tea.
Desert will be Crème De Mint Chocolate Parfait
Cost is $22.00/person and the sign-up sheet and pre-pay envelopes are located in the church vestibule. Please respond by November 19, 2018! Thank you and hope to see all parishioners there!
CHURCH DECORATING:
The church will be decorated on Saturday, December 9th at 9:00am and we are inviting all volunteers to help make our church more beautiful for the Christmas Season. A light lunch will be provided. A sign-up sheet is located in the vestibule.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY:
Sunday, December 16th after 9:00 am Liturgy will be the children’s Christmas party, with a light lunch and beverages being served with a “jolly” visit from St. Nicholas.
Please sign up in the vestibule by December 9, 2018.
BAKE SALE:
Saturday and Sunday, December 22nd and 23rd before and after Divine Liturgy will be our Christmas bake sale, which is sponsored by the Altar & Rosary Society and GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project. A Kolachi sign-up sheet is in the vestibule and orders will be accepted until December 12th.
CHRISTMAS FAST:
This Monday, November 19th begins Philipovka, which is a Christmas fast to prepare for the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
ANNULMENT WORKSHOP:
Divorced Catholics and others who may be interested in learning the annulment process are welcome to attend a free workshop on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:00 pm at St. John Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 210 Greentree Rd.

SANCTUARY CANDLES
The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The left candle is in memory of +Anna Chuba and the right candle is in memory of +Elizabeth Jonda both from Bob and Millie Jonda respectively
