This year’s annual party will be held at the

Holiday Inn Boardman Banquet Center, on Sunday,

December 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm.

We look forward to sharing a wonderful dinner with all who signed up for this event.

CHURCH DECORATING:

The church will NOW be decorated on Saturday, December 1st at 9:00am and we are inviting all volunteers to help make our church more beautiful for the Christmas Season.  A light lunch will be provided. A sign-up sheet is located in the vestibule.

 

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY:

Sunday, December 16th after 9:00 am Liturgy will be the children’s Christmas party, with a light lunch and beverages being served with a “jolly” visit from St. Nicholas.

Please sign up in the vestibule by December 9, 2018.

 

SPIRITUAL PREPARATION:

The Benedictine Sisters of the Byzantine Church at Queen of Heaven Monastery, Warren, Ohio are offering a Day of Spirituality in preparation for the Nativity of Christ, on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1:30 pm to 4:15pm at St. Peter and Paul Parish Center, located at 180 Belvedere Ave., N.E., Warren, Ohio. BAKE SALE:

Saturday and Sunday, December 22nd and 23rd before and after Divine Liturgy will be our Christmas bake sale, which is sponsored by the Altar & Rosary Society and GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project. A Kolachi sign-up sheet is in the vestibule and orders will be accepted until December 12th.

 

ANNULMENT WORKSHOP:

Divorced Catholics and others who may be interested in learning the annulment process are welcome to attend a free workshop on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:00 pm at St. John Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 210 Greentree Rd.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. There are no requested Sanctuary candles this week.
