The 2023 Sanctuary request sheet is available on the vestibule table.
ROSARY:
The Altar & Rosary Society will be praying the rosary THIS Sunday, December 4th at 8:30 am. Everyone is welcomed.
CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES:
CHRISTMAS DINNER:
Reminder, the Christmas party will be at the Holiday Inn in Boardman on December 11, 2022 from 5:00-9:00 pm for all those who signed up. Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm. Please see Bob or Stephanie Sheely if interested in attending.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY:
The Children’s Christmas Party will be Sunday December 18th following 9:00 am liturgy. Everyone is invited for a snack, beverage and a special visit from St. Nicholas. Children age 14 and under please sign up in church vestibule by Sunday December 11th.
CHRISTMAS DECORATING:
Thank you to all who came this Saturday and helped decorate the parish for the Christmas season. The church looks beautiful. Also, to Mary & Jerry Novak for supplying the refreshments and food. May God bless all of you with your continued time and talent.
CHRISTMAS KOLACHI:
Maryna is baking nut kolachi for Christmas. Order forms are available on the vestibule table and can be returned to Fr. Michael or in the collection basket. Orders can also be called into the rectory. Deadline to order is December 11th. All orders will be completed by December 22nd.
EVENT REMINDER:
This Sunday, December 4th, Oles Cheren & Lyubov Yesyp, dba Cataract Press from Parma will be visiting our parish with a large selection of Slavic (Croatian, Polis, Rusyn, Slovak, Slovenian & Ukrainian) merchandise. This will include books, embroidery, jewelry. The focus of the display is the Lord’s Nativity and includes Christmas tree ornaments. The display will be in the vestibule and a percentage will be donated to our parish.
SANCTUARY CANDLES:
The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions.
For the week of December 4-10, the right sanctuary candle is in memory of +Catherine Patterson from Mary Beth Hayer. The left sanctuary candle is in memory of +Irene Kollar from Karen & Kathy Kollar.
