GCU:

 THIS IS THE LAST WEEKEND for the GCU Lodge 442 Community Project of 2021 to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. All parishioners are welcome to participate. All non-perishable food items are welcomed. Most needed items: cereal, peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned fruit, dry pasta, canned soup, tuna fish and macaroni & cheese. GCU Lodge 442 is matching all donations.

CHILDREN CHRISTMAS DAY:

Infant Jesus of Prague Parish/St. Peter & Paul Church is holding a

Children’s Christmas Present Day on Sunday, December 12th following

9:00 am liturgy. Presents and a treat bag will be given out in the side atrium. Children will need to sign up in the vestibule by Sunday, December 5th. All ECF students and parish children ages 14 and under are invited to sign up. This event is sponsored by GCU Lodge 442 and the Altar & Rosary Society.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS:

We will be decorating the church for Christmas on Saturday, December 4th @ 9:00 am. All parishioners are welcomed to help prepare our church for the Christmas season.  Lunch will be provided.

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS:

St. Peter & Paul/Infant Jesus of Prague Christmas ornaments are available to purchase for $ 5.00. Please see Fr. Michael if interested.

SAVE THE DATE:

The 9th Annual Women’s Retreat “The Gift of Prayer” will be held on March 18, 2022 at Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center in Freemont, Ohio. Father Cyril Pinchak, SJ will be retreat master. Contact Joan Washburn @ (865) 696-7809 for further information.

UPCOMING EVENT:

On December 12 Oles Cheren & Lyubov Yesyp, dba Cataract Press from Parma will be visiting our parish with a large selections of Slavic (Croation, Polish, Rusyn, Slovak, Slovenian & Ukrainian) merchandise. This will include books, CD’s, DVD’s, embroidery, imported from Ukraine, jewelry. The focus of the display is the Lord’s Nativity and includes Christmas, tree ornaments and carols. The display will be in the vestibule and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to our parish.

2022 SANCTUARY CANDLE:

The 2022 sanctuary candle sign-up sheet is in the vestibule on the table.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions.

For the week of Nov.28-Dec. 4 the left sanctuary candle is in memory of +Helen Boccio from Frank Boccio and Karen & Kathy Kollar. The right sanctuary candle is in memory of + John G. Stanko and + John S. Stanko from Mark & Nancy Stanko
