ASSEMBLY OF THE BYZANTINE CATHOLIC CHURCH:
The assembly- “One Body in Christ: Re-emerging from the Pandemic” will be held November 5 & 6, 2021 @ St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Munhall, PA. Register @ archpitt.org.
PARISHIONER NEWS:
Our dear parishioner John Bernat passed away this week. Private services will be held. Our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. Blessed repose to his servant John.

Thank you very much to Joyce & Tom Lesko for purchasing shelving and containers for the church kitchenette and organizing all the supplies. We truly appreciate your generosity, hard work and time. May God bless you both for your continually support of our church.
GCU:
GCU Lodge 442 Community Project for 2021 will the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. All parishioners are welcome to participate. All non-perishable food items are welcomed. Most needed items: cereal, peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned fruit, dry pasta, canned soup, tuna fish and macaroni & cheese. GCU Lodge 442 is matching all donations and the collection runs through the end of November.
MEETING:
On Sunday, November 7, 2021, the Biannual Altar & Rosary Society of Infant Jesus of Prague followed by the 4th Quarter GCU Lodge of Infant Jesus of Prague & St. Nicholas parishes will be held after 9:00 am Sunday liturgy. All members and interested new members are invited to attend. Annual election of officers is on the agenda.
TRUNK OR TREAT:
A “Trunk or Treat” will be held for all ECF students & children of the parish following liturgies on Saturday October 30th & Sunday October 31st. “Goodies” will sponsored and distributed by members of the Altar & Rosary Society and GCU Lodge 442. In addition, all parishioners are invited to join in on the fun and bring their own “treat” and open their “trunk” to the children. On Saturday (the 30th) & Sunday (31st) look for the orange cones on the side parking lot for the distribution of treats. Social distancing will be observed. We look forward to a wonderful time for all.
SANCTUARY CANDLES:
The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions.
For the week of Oct. 24-30 the right sanctuary candle is in memory of +Coralie Terleck from Diana Terleck & family. There is no request for the left sanctuary candle.
