PLEASE PRAY FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR PARISHIONERS:

Mary Rotunno at Assumption, Louise Macabobby at Hampton Woods, and the rest of our parishioners who are in nursing homes.  May God grant to all the sick of our parish many blessed, happy and healthier years.

ALTAR ROSARY SOCIETY: All parishioners are invited to join this wonderful association. Members pray the Rosary the first Sunday of each month at 8:30 AM. Dues for 2020 & 2021 are only $5.00 for both years (two years for the price of one). Envelopes for dues are on the table in the vestibule for you to deposit into the collection basket. You can also mail your dues to Mary Beth Hayer, 1063 Runge Avenue, Struthers, Ohio  44471. Contact President Elaine Chachko for more information.

HOLY WATER:

Holy water is available for all parishioners in the vestibule please bring you own containers.

Christmas Decorations:

We will be taking down Christmas decorations Next Sunday after 9AM Liturgy. Volunteers are very welcome.

PICTURES UPDATE: 

Thank you to all parishioners who have had their pictures taken for our 50^th Anniversary Commemorative Book.  Due to the Covid pandemic, it has been decided that any parishioner who would like to have their picture taken please contact Joe Rudinec @ (330) 726-2572 to arrange your date. The picture will be taken at his studio on Market Street in North Lima.  We truly hope to have all parish families represented in our book.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The left Sanctuary is in memory of +Helen Brill from Children and the right Sanctuary candle is in memory of +Helen Brill from Grandchildren and Great Granddaughters.

for the Father’s voice bore witness to you, calling you his beloved Son,
and the Spirit in the form of a dove confirmed the truth of these words.
O Christ God, you appeared and enlightened the world. Glory to you!

You have shown Yourself today to the world, and Your light, 0 Lord, has shined upon those who, recognizing You, cry out to You : You have come and revealed Yourself, o inaccessible Light.

PRAYER FOR THE BLESSING OF HOMES

O God, our True Light and Savior, You have deigned to be baptized in the Jordan by John the Baptist to renew all men by the cleansing water of regeneration (Tit. 3:5) and to enter under the roof of Zacchaeus, bringing salvation to him and his house (lk. 19:9), now, You, 0 lord, protect also all those who dwell in this house from all harm and injury; grant them Jordan ‘s blessing, purification of soul and body, and good health ; and hear all their supplications, which are for their salvation and life eternal.

For blessed are You, 0 lord, together with Your Eternal Father and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and forever. Amen.

(Sprinkle Holy Water inside your house while saying:) By the sprinkling of this Holy Water may this house and all it contains be blessed and sanctified in The Name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit. Amen.
