Announcements and information

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR PARISHIONERS:

Ken & Bernie Litwin, Richard Kuty, Pearl Tablack, and Patricia Flaherty, all at home, Mary Rotunno at Assumption, Louise Macabobby at Hampton Woods, Helen Brill at Maplecrest and the rest of our parishioners who are in nursing homes.  May God grant to all the sick of our parish many blessed, happy and healthier years.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING:

We will be decorating the church for Christmas on Saturday, December 5^th, beginning @ 9:00 am. This year may be a little different with masks and social distancing, however, we can still enjoy this time of year as we prepare our church for the birth of Jesus.

CALENDARS:

The 2021 church calendars are available on the table in the vestibule for all parishioners.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

All checks are to remain being endorsed to Infant Jesus of Prague. We hope this clears up any confusion with the recent name change.

 ALTAR ROSARY SOCIETY:

All parishioners are invited to join this wonderful association. Members pray the Rosary the first Sunday of each month at 8:30 AM. Dues for 2020 & 2021 are only $5.00 for both years (two years for the price of one). Envelopes for dues are on the table in the vestibule for you to deposit into the collection basket. You can also mail your dues to Mary Beth Hayer, 1063 Runge Avenue, Struthers, Ohio  44471. Contact President Elaine  Chachko for more information.

50^th ANNIVERSARY BOOK:

We are STILL continuing to look for businesses, organizations, and parish families to provide sponsorships in our Commemorative Anniversary Book. Order forms were sent to all parishioners’ homes. We have extended the deadline to the end of the year-December 31, 2020.   If you have more than one sponsor, or have any questions please contact the rectory or call Mary Sinowski at (330)540-4519.

IN MEMORY:

We are also still accepting in memory commemoration for our 50^th anniversary book. The cost is $10 or $20 with a picture of your loved one. Please see Fr. Michael or mail to the rectory. The deadline is also December 31, 2020.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION:

Mark the date- December 6, 2020 12:30pm-2:30pm. St. Peter &Paul (Infant Jesus) & St. Nicholas are having a joint celebration for the parishioners. The St. Nicholas Day Celebration will include a delicious brunch, holiday carols, a visit from St. Nicholas, raffles and door prizes. As of this printing, we plan to have the celebration, all pending new precautions given by the governor for Covid.

PICTURES UPDATE: 

Thank you to all parishioners who have had their pictures taken for our 50^th Anniversary Commemorative Book.  Due to the Covid pandemic, it has been decided that any parishioner who would like to have their picture taken please contact Joe Rudinec @ (330) 726-2572 to arrange your date. The picture will be taken at his studio on Market Street in North Lima.  We truly hope to have all parish families represented in our book. Please arrange as soon as possible so the book can be completed.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The right sanctuary candle is in memory of +Irene & +Robert O’Shelski from Mary Beth Hayer and Janice & David Hartzell. There is no request for the left candle.
