PLEASE PRAY FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR PARISHIONERS:

Ken & Bernie Litwin, Richard Kuty, Pearl Tablack, and Patricia Flaherty, all at home, William Ripple at Heritage Manor-Youngstown, Mary Rotunno at Assumption, Louise Macabobby at Hampton Woods, Helen Brill at Maplecrest and the rest of our parishioners who are in nursing homes.  May God grant to all the sick of our parish many blessed, happy and healthier years.

ATTENTION:

USHERS & READERS:

Anyone interested in becoming an usher (collector) &/or reader, please see Fr. Michael or call Greg Slemons @ (330) 360-6465.  The readers can choose Saturday or Sunday and both are on a monthly rotation.

ROSARY:

A reminder that the Altar Rosary Society prays the rosary before 9:00 am Liturgy on the first Sunday on every month. The rosary begins at 8:30 am.  Mark your calendars the next rosary will be prayed on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2020. We encourage parishioners to come and pray.

GCU and ALTAR ROSARY SOCIETY:

The GCU and Altar Rosary Society meeting will be held following liturgy on Sunday, October 25, 2020. There will be social distancing and we hope parishioners can attend.  

50^th ANNIVERSARY BOOK:

We are STILL continuing to look for businesses, organizations, and parish families to provide sponsorships in our Commemorative Anniversary Book. Order forms were sent to all parishioners’ homes. We have extended the deadline to the end of the year-December 31, 2020.   If you have more than one sponsor, or have any questions please contact the rectory or call Mary Sinowski at (330)540-4519.

IN MEMORY:

We are also still accepting in memory commemoration for our 50^th anniversary book. The cost is $10 or $20 with a picture of your loved one. Please see Fr. Michael or mail to the rectory. The deadline is also December 31, 2020.

ECF REMINDER:

Just a reminder that ECF classes are held on Tuesday @ 6:00 pm ON LINE for school age children and the adult classes are on Thursday at Infant Jesus also @6:00 pm.

It will be broadcasted on our Facebook page. 

PICTURES UPDATE: 

Thank you to all parishioners who have had their pictures taken for our 50^th Anniversary Commemorative Book.  Due to the Covid pandemic, it has been decided that any parishioner who would like to have their picture taken please contact Joe Rudinec @ (330) 726-2572 to arrange your date. The picture will be taken at his studio on Market Street in North Lima.  We truly hope to have all parish families represented in our book. Please arrange as soon as possible so the book can be completed.

PARISHIONER NEWS:

Congratulations to our parishioner and Boardman tennis player Ava Valko who has advanced to the district tournament. She played Thursday-10/15 and we will update in next week’s bulletin on her results.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The left Sanctuary candle is in memory of +Coralie Terleck from Diana Terleck & family. The right sanctuary candle is in memory of +Daniel & +Gertrude Magulick from Dan Magulick & Bill Novak.
