HELPING HANDS:
Our annual helping hands will be on June 6, 2020 @ 9:00 am on the church grounds. We will be social distancing but bring your garden gloves and help to beautify the church grounds.
MEMORIAL DAY:
We wish all a beautiful, safe and blessed Memorial Day. Thank you to all our armed service and essential service workers for their work and dedication. God bless all of you and God bless America.
50TH ANNIVERSARY UPDATE:
OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR JULY 19, 2020 @ 3:00 pm. Archbishop William Skurla will attend our liturgy. We will also have the dinner to follow at Byzantine at the Grove. We do hope all attend the Divine Liturgy/Dinner and celebrate 50 years of our parish. Further updates will follow.
50th ANNIVERSARY BOOK:
We are continuing to look for businesses, organizations, and parish families to provide sponsorships in our Commemorative Anniversary Book. There will also be a section in memory of our beloved deceased parishioners. Order forms were sent to all parishioners’ homes. We have extended the deadline to the fall. If you have more than one sponsor, or have any questions please contact the rectory or call Mary Sinowski at (330)540-4519 .
PICTURES UPDATE:
Thank you to all parishioners who have had their pictures taken for our 50th Anniversary Commemorative Book. We know some were unable to meet these dates; therefore, we will be planning another sitting as soon as possible. We truly hope to have all parish families represented in our book. Any questions please see Father Michael or call Paula Slemons.
LITURGIES:
The weekend of May 30 & 31, church will be re-opened for liturgy. The following will be enforced:
- Leave an empty pew between people and 6 feet between non-family related persons. Families that live together may sit & pray together.
- All members are encouraged to wear masks and use hand sanitizers upon entering and exiting the church.
PARISHIONER NEWS:
Our parishioner +Andria O’Hara passed away on March 3, 2020. A memorial liturgy will be offered on May 29, 2020 @ 12:00. Andria was a long time parishioner and member of our Altar Rosary Society. Our deepest sympathy to Andria’s family & friends. Blessed repose to his servant Andria.
