10^TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY:  Father Michael will be celebrating the 10^th Anniversary of his Ordination.  A celebration in his honor will be held at the church on December 22^nd following the Liturgy. Cake and light refreshments will be served.  All are invited to come and congratulate Father Michael.    

         

REMINDER-GCU: Everyone is invited for coffee and donuts on Sunday, November 24^th, to be followed by the 4^th Quarter GCU meeting.

 

CHRISTMAS DECORATING: Volunteers are needed on Saturday, Dec. 7^th at 9:00am for the annual decorating of our church.  Please donate your time to beautify the church for this Christmas season.

 

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY:  The 2019 Children’s Christmas party will be held on Sunday, Dec. 15^th following the Liturgy and is open to kids up to 14 years old.  A light lunch will be served and St. Nicholas will be bringing presents! Please sign up by Dec. 9th on the sheet in the vestibule.

 

 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER: All are invited to the Annual Christmas Dinner to be held at the Holiday Inn Boardman on Sunday, Dec. 8^th at 5:00pm.  $22 includes your choice of London Broil, Stuffed Chicken Florentine or Salmon, with Salad, Green Beans, Rolls, Desert, Coffee, & Hot or Iced Tea. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle and prizes.

 

HOLIDAY CONCERT:  The East Winds Symphonic Band & the Pittsburgh Byzantine Catholic Archieparchal Choir will present a Holiday Sounds Concert on Sunday, Dec. 15^th, 2019 at 3:30pm at St. John’s Cathedral Center in Munhall, PA.  Admission is free.

 

50^TH ANNIVERSARY UPDATE:The celebration will be held on June 28^th, 2020.  There are flyers from the meeting in the vestibule for updates.

 

CHRISTMAS TREES:  Thank you to all who donated toward the new Christmas trees.  We received a total of $1275.00.  We have purchased two 9 foot trees and four 7 ½ foot trees. The remainder of the money will be allocated to the purchase of other Christmas decorations.  A list of donors will be forthcoming.

 

2019 ST. NICHOLAS CELEBRATION:  The Annual St. Nicholas Celebration to benefit the Byzantine Catholic Seminary of Sts. Cyril & Methodius will take place on Sun, Dec. 8^th, 2019 at St. John Cathedral & Center in Munhall, PA.  There will be an additional fundraiser raffle in which the winner will receive 12 $50 gift cards to popular national restaurants in addition to $1500 in cash. The winning number will be the PA Pick 3 number drawn on Dec. 15^th, 2019.  Please show your support by purchasing a raffle ticket! For tickets please see Fr. Michael.

THANKSGIVING:  Fr. Michael, Maryna and family wish all a Happy Thanksgiving and may God bless all of you.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The left Sanctuary candle this week is in Memory of +Milan Krivan. The right candle is for the Health & Well Being of Ken & Bernie Litwin. Both are from Bob & Millie Jonda.
