PLEASE PRAY FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR PARISHIONERS:

Janice Salcedo, Ken & Bernie Litwin, Richard Kuty, Margaret Arvin, Pearl Tablack and Patricia Flaherty all  at home, Sophie Cimino at Omni West Assisted Living, Thomas Urdea at Shepard of the Valley on Western Reserve Rd, Louise Macabobby at Hampton Woods, and the rest of our parishioners who are in nursing homes.  May God grant to all the sick of our parish many blessed, happy and healthier years.

ROSARY:

Reminder, that every first Sunday of the month, the Altar Rosary Society prays the rosary at 8:30am before the Divine Liturgy. All parishioners are welcome.  

50^th ANIVERSARY-2020 :

The 50^th Anniversary celebration of Infant Jesus of Prague in 2020 was discussed this past week at the Byzantine Social Club meeting. It has been decided it will be held in June 2020 and that a banquet following Liturgy with Bishop William will be planned. We would love all parishioners to join in and help organize and if anyone has any pictures or information of the history of our church to please see Father Michael or Mickey Vasilchek. Let’s make this a wonderful event!!!!!

KENNYWOOD:

Mark your calendars, Byzantine Catholic Fun Day at Kennywood will be July 25^th. Discounted tickets are available through the GCU. Infant Jesus will be having a bus to go and it is FREE. The bus will leave the church parking lot at 9:00am. Ticket are $25 FunDay ride all day (ages 4-54), $15 Senior FunDay (55+), $11 Super Senior FunDay (70+), $15 Catered Lunch at Pavilion #5 (ages 11+), and $8 Junior Catered Lunch (ages 4-10). Please see the sign-up sheet and information in the church vestibule. Come and join us for a wonderful, fun-filled day.

COFFEE & DONUT SOCIAL:

Everyone is invited to the coffee and donut social following liturgy on Sunday, July 21, 2019, sponsored by the Altar and Rosary Society of infant Jesus of Prague Church. The 3^rd quarter meeting on GCU lodge 442 will follow. All parishioners are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

FOOD FEST: UPDATE!!!!!!!!!

Infant Jesus of Prague will be holding a Food fest on July 27, 2019 on the church grounds STARTING AT 11AM. Help will be needed the following days: THIS TUESDAY (7-16-19) AT 9AM AT BYZANTINE AT THE GROVE TO MAKE PIROHY,

WEDNESDAY (7-24-19) 9AM AT BYZANTINE AT THE GROVE TO HELP WITH FOOD PREP,

FRIDAY (7-26-19) AT 8AM AT BYZANTINE AT THE GROVE FOR FOOD PREP OR AT THE CHURCH GROUNDS FOR SET UP,

SATURDAY (7-27-19—day of food fest!) STARTING AT 9AM FOR THE FOOD FEST.

Chinese Auction: whoever is willing to donate items for our Chinese auction, please bring them to the rectory by SUNDAY 7-21-19!

Baked goods are to be brought the day of the food fest at 9am to the church grounds.

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. Both sanctuary candles this week are for the Health and Well-Being of Janice Salcedo from her family.
