 SPRING FLING BINGO-REMINDER

Sunday, May 5 – Spring Fling Bingo Matinee – to be held from 1 p.m. until

4 p.m. at Byzantine Center at the Grove. Includes buffet lunch, eight games of bingo, chance auction, 50/50 and Bingo Ball Drop raffles. There is a chance to win over $1,000 in cash prizes. $30 per person.  Advanced reservations requested. Walk-ins welcome based on availability. For reservations, call 330-519-0395.  CHURCH VOCATIONS:

All are invited to join in Prayer for Church Vocations at Holy Family Church 2729 Center Road, Poland Ohio on May 15, 2019.  Rosary will begin at 9:40 am and the day will end at noon with a luncheon. Cost is $10.00 for the luncheon. Please RSVP by May 8^th to Holy Family Church at the above address.

 2^ND HARVEST FOOD BANK:

We will be joining the 2^nd harvest food bank’s “harvest for hunger” food drive which runs from now through the end of April. Non-perishable food items can be placed in the donation box in the church vestibule. A “most needed” items list and further information will also be available there. This is sponsored by the Byzantine Social Club and Lodge 442 of the Parish. Your generosity and donation is greatly appreciated.

 GCU LODGE:

Everyone is invited for coffee and donuts after Sunday Liturgy May 19, 2019 followed by the second quarter meeting of GCU Lodge 442. All parishioners are invited.

 ANNUAL WOMEN’S DAY OF REFLECTION: 

Sixteenth Annual Women’s Day of Reflection will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9:00 am till 2:30 pm.

PASKA(EASTER BREAD):

Again, thank you to all who donated for our Paska bread fund-raiser. A total of $1800.00 was raised by both sales and donations. The money will be appropriated towards our maintenance fund. We truly appreciate your continued support.

 

SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. There are no Sanctuary candles for this week.
