PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND:

ANNULMENT WORKSHOP:

Divorced Catholics and anyone interested in learning about the annulment process are welcome to attend free workshop which will be held 7-8 p.m. March 26 at St. Mary, 356 South Belle Vista Ave. , Youngstown , Ohio. No reservation are required or you may call 412-456-3033 so sitting arrangements can be made.

ANNUAL COMMUNION BREAKFAST: REMINDER

The Byzantine Social Club will have their Annual Communion Breakfast Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 12:15 pm at the Byzantine Center at the Grove on Shady Run Road, Youngstown. ALL PARISHIONERS and their guest are invited. The breakfast buffet will include: bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, egg casserole, hash browns, French toast, Danish, fruit, English muffins, coffee, tea and juice The cost is $12.00 inclusive. Please see sign-up sheet in the vestibule so we can get a count. Please come and enjoy a day of great food, socializing and raffle prizes.

 

BENEDICTINE SISTERS:

The Benedictine Sisters of the Byzantine Church at Queen of Heaven Monastery, Warren, OH, are offering a Day of Spirituality in preparation for the Resurrection of Christ, on Sunday March 31, 2019 from 1:30-4:30pm. PASKA (EASTER BREAD):

We will be selling Paska (Easter bread) this year. The cost is $8.00 for plain or with raisin. Order forms are in the vestibule or you can call the rectory @ (330) 758-6019 with you orders. All order forms may be dropped in the collection basket. Pick –up for the Paska bread will be on Wednesday April 17, 2019 before & after Pre-sanctified Liturgy (5:00-6:00 pm & 7:00-7:30pm).  Any donations of Robin Hood flour, raisins, butter, margarine or money would be greatly appreciated. Thank you is advance.

2ND HARVEST FOOD BANK:

We will be joining the 2nd harvest food bank’s “harvest for hunger” food drive which runs from now through the end of April. Non-perishable food items can be placed in the donation box in the church vestibule. A “most needed” items list and further information will also be available there. This is sponsored by the Byzantine Social Club and Lodge 442 of the Parish. Your generosity and donation is greatly appreciated.

 

NATIONAL JUNIOR BOWLING TOURNAMENT:

On Sunday, March 31, 2019 GCU Youngstown Area Lodges will be holding their annual bowling tournament. It will be at 1:00pm (sign-in at 12:30pm) at,
