52^nd Annual Assumption Pilgrimage: The 52^nd Annual Assumption Pilgrimage will be held August 13-15, 2017 at the Basilica and National Shrines of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson, Ohio. The Feast of the Assumption will be on Tuesday, August 15^th.

 

Pilgrimage for Peace: The Pilgrimage for Peace Transfigured by Peace will be at Holy Dormition Byzantine Franciscan Friary in Sybertsville, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 10:00am-6:00pm.

 

Blessing of the Cars: REMINDER! This week after liturgy, Fr. Michael will be blessing cars for all who come.

 

Kennywood: Attention all who are riding the bus to Kennywood- Please be at Infant Jesus of Prague at 8:30am on Thursday July 27^th. There will be a tailgate before and the bus will leave at 9:00am sharp. Tickets will be given out at that time, to whoever purchased them from our church. The bus will leave Kennywood to return home at 6:00pm. Let’s pray for no rain and to have a great day!

 

Marriage Celebration: A celebration of Marriage honouring those who are celebrating significant anniversaries (10,25,40,45,50, and every 5 years thereafter) in this year of 2017. The celebration will be held on Sunday, September 10^th at 3:00pm at St. Elias Church in Munhall, PA. Divine Liturgy followed by a banquet dinner, a certificate, and a picture with Archbishop William will occur. Please call the rectory by this Sunday July 23, 2017 so we can register you for this wonderful event.

 

United Nations International Pilgrim Virgin Statue Fatima Centennial Tour: One of the four famous statues sculpted according to the specifications of Sister Lucia, will be held at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church on Wednesday August 16^th from 11:00am to 7:00pm. GCU Meeting: REMINDER! This Sunday, July 23^rd, following 9:00am Liturgy everyone is welcome for coffee and donuts. The 3^rd Quarterly GCU meeting will follow. We hope you can attend.

 

Sanctuary Candles: The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The cost is $10. There are two Sanctuary candles so more than one intention may be given. This week’s Sanctuary Candle is for Elaine, Marilyn, and Michael Chachko from Tillie Chachko.
