GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project: Congratulations to last weeks (May 14th) matching fund winner of $100 to Tina Bzinak. There are two more drawings so we wish everyone good luck.

Congratulations: Congratulations to McKenna Lewis, Evan Welton, Adrian Gelonese, & Robbie Gelonese who received their first Holy Eucharist this Sunday. God bless McKenna, Evan, Adrian & Robbie and their families on this very special day. All are welcome to celebrate with them after liturgy.

Byzantine Social Club: On Wednesday, May 24th at 6:30pm, the Byzantine Social Club will have their monthly meeting in the church pavilion for a picnic weather permitting. Group A is in charge. All parishioners are invited to enjoy a wonderful spring evening.  

Slavic Fest: Reminder that St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2230 Highland Road, Hermitage, is having a “SLAVIC FEST” TODAY, Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 11:00am-7:00pm at the Social Center. Ethnic Slavic Foods and Desserts will be available for eat-in or take-out. Live bands include the Cleveland Style Polka, The Zaps and the Chardon Polka Band. Vendors, ethnic and religious items, Chinese Auction and 50/50 Raffle. Free Admission!

Attention: On Monday June 5, 2017, St. Christine Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will celebrate a mass for area Guild Members. Rosary will be at 11:30 and mass at noon. A light lunch will follow. Reservations are due by May 18 by calling Patti Griffin at (330) 793-4799.

Helping Hands: Thank you to everyone who came on Saturday for Helping Hands. The church grounds look beautiful. God bless all of you for giving your time and talents to help beautify our church.

Summer Vacation School: St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Campbell is holding a summer vacation Bible School. It will be held Monday July 17- Friday July 21 from 9am-12 noon each day. Further information will be forthcoming.

Maintenance Update: Starting in June, the flat roofs on the Church will be removed and replaced by Holtz and Sons Roofing for a cost of $32,500. Your generosity in giving to the maintenance envelope will help defray the cost.

Food Fest Announcement: Our 2nd Annual Food Fest will be held on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 11am-4pm at St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church on Robinson road in Campbell. The menu will be Holupki, Haluski, Kolbasi & Sauerkraut and Pirohy. There will also be a bake sale & music. We would love your help and/or patronage to make this another great event. WE ARE LOOKING FOR BAKERS FOR OUR BAKE SALE!!! There will be sign-up sheets in the vestibule coming in June.

Special Announcement: On Sunday May 28, 2017, after 11am liturgy at St. Nicholas there will be a Panahida at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Also, at 5pm there will be a Panahida at St. Johns Cemetery.

Sanctuary Candles: The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The cost is $10. There are two Sanctuary candles so more than one intention may be given. GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project: The winner of the First Matching Funds drawing last week was Sophie Cimino. Sophie donated her winnings of $50 back to the GCU Lodge. Thank you and God Bless Sophie for her kindness and generosity.

Mark Your Calendars: REMINDER Mother’s Day Buffet is today Sunday May 14 from 11:00am until 3:00pm at Byzantine Center at the Grove. There will be a fabulous buffet featuring ethnic and traditional favourites’. Ticket prices are; Adults- $25 per person, Children- 6-10 years-$10, and Children- 5 and under- FREE (Tax and Gratuity included). There will be a gift for every mother and door prizes!

Fatima Centennial Conference: The Fatima Conference will be held at Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson. The conference will be on May 12-14.

Fatima Centennial Conference: A Fatima Conference to open the 100th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady to the three children in Fatima, Portugal will be held at the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in North Jackson. The conference will be on May 12-14.

 GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project: GET YOUR TICKETS for the month of Sundays Mini Raffle. It will benefit the Building and Ground Maintenance Fund. $5.00 per ticket and drawings will be every Sunday in May. Please remember our profit will be equally matched by our GCU office in Pittsburgh.

 Slavic Fest: There will be a Slavic Fest on Sunday May 21, 2017 from 11:00am-7:00pm at Saint Michael Social Center, 2140 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA. There will be Live Entertainment, Ethnic Food, Vendors, Chinese Auction, and a 50/50 Raffle.

SENIOR LUNCHEON: The Senior Luncheon is back! It will be held on Thursday May 4th, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Byzantine at the Grove. Call Helen Yurko at 330-782-1524 to make reservations.
