The GCU’s Board of Directors recently approved a program to support lodges in providing financial relief to their local food banks. Local Lodge 442 based at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman, which also serves St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church has selected Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning County to be the

Beneficiary of a $1,000 grant. We applaud the Board of Directors of GCU for their caring generosity & the efforts of Second Harvest in filling so many needs in our tri-county valley during this Covid -19 pandemic.

We are also still accepting in memory commemoration for our 50^th anniversary book. The cost is $10 or $20 with a picture of your loved one. Please see Fr. Michael or mail to the rectory. The deadline is also December 31, 2020.

PARISHIONER NEWS:

Congratulations to Stephen Stanko and Elena Slemons who graduated this weekend.  Stephen graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting degree. He has accepted a full time position at TCF Bank while pursuing his MBA. Elena graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education & Human Ecology in Sport Industry with a minor in business. Elena is in the interview process. We wish them all the best and may God continue to bless them in the next chapter of their lives.

GCU:

The GCU’s Board of Directors recently approved a program to support lodges in providing financial relief to their local food banks. Local Lodge 442 based at Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman, which also serves St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church has selected Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning County to be the

Beneficiary of a $1,000 grant. We applaud the Board of Directors of GCU for their caring generosity & the efforts of Second Harvest in filling so many needs in our tri-county valley during this Covid -19 pandemic.

Our beloved parishioner Helen Brill passed away this past week and her funeral was Saturday, November 28, 2020. Our deepest sympathies and prayers to Helen’s family. Blessed repose to his servant +Helen.

Mark the date- December 6, 2020 12:30pm-2:30pm. St. Peter &Paul (Infant Jesus) & St. Nicholas are having a joint celebration for the parishioners. The St. Nicholas Day Celebration will include a delicious brunch, holiday carols, a visit from St. Nicholas, raffles and door prizes. As of this printing, we plan to have the celebration, all pending new precautions given by the governor for Covid.
