BLESSING OF STUDENTS & TEACHERS:
As the beginning of the school year fast approaches, Father Michael will be blessing all school age children (pre-school to college) and teachers after liturgies August 9th & 10th
CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE:
The Archdiocese of Pittsburgh will again honor couples who are celebrating significant year anniversaries of their marriage-10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 or additional years that are multiples of five during 2025. The celebration will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at St. Elias Church. Please call Paula @ (330)799-5983 by THIS SUNDAY August 3rd to sign up. If you are unable to attend, certificates will still be mailed.
THANK YOU:
Thank you to the Byzantine Social Club for organizing and all parishioners who attended and brought the delicious food to our parish picnic. The heat did not stop everyone from enjoying a wonderful evening. Please mark your calendars-the next church event will be a Corn Roast on Wednesday, September 10th. More information will be forthcoming.
CHINESE AUCTION:
St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Campbell is having their annual3-Tier Chinese Auction on Sunday, September 7th in their church hall. Admission is $10 & includes 25 tier-one tickets and lunch (pasta bowl). Doors open @ Noon and drawings begin @ 2:15 pm. Over 200 great prizes, gift certificates and theme baskets all waiting to be won. A takeout pasta is available for $12.
PILGRIMAGE:
Sisters of the Order of St. Basil 91st Annual Pilgrimage, 500 West Main Street, in Uniontown will be held over Labor Day weekend. Seeker of the Lost is this year’s Pilgrimage.
BASILICA & NATIONAL SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF LEBANON:
The Annual Pilgrimage at Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N Lipkey Road in North Jackson will be held August 13-15th. On Thursday, August 14th @ 7:00 pm. Archbishop William Skurla will have liturgy.
REVERSE RAFFLE:
St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Campbell is having their annual Reverse raffle on Saturday, October 4th at their church hall. Grand prize is $2500 along with other prizes, games and chances to win. Ticket numbers 1-200 are being sold at $100 per ticket ($150 with guest) which includes entry into the raffle, appetizers, dinner and open bar. Call 330-755-4831 for your ticket. Appetizers begin @5:00 pm followed by dinner & the raffle starts @7:00pm.
CANDLES:
The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions.
For the week of August 3-9, 2025, the left sanctuary candle is in memory of Tina Bush from the Sheely Family. There is no request for the right sanctuary candle.
