Sponsored by the GCU Lodge 442, there will be a coffee and donut social following the Divine Liturgy on January 21, 2018.  All are welcome and hope to have a large attendance.

 

 

 

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS:

Next week, Saturday, January 13, 2018 @ 9:00 am we will be taking down the Christmas decorations. Coffee and donuts will be provided for all who help. All help is appreciated.

 

 

 

IT’S A GIRL!:

As published in last week’s bulletin, under her physician’s order, due to complications, Maryna is now on bed rest and therefore we will be cancelling the baby shower until after the baby’s birth. We will keep all parishioners informed and please keep Maryna and the baby in your prayers.

IT’S A GIRL!:

All parishioners are cordially invited to attend the Baby Shower for Maryna and Father Michael before the arrival of their new bundle of joy! It will be held January 14, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the church.  A sign-up sheet will be collected by January 7th, which is located in the vestibule, in order for preparations to be made. Thank you.

 

DIAPER RAFFLE:

We will be having a diaper raffle at Maryna’s baby shower and are asking for everyone to bring a package of diapers (not new born) to the event.  In turn, names will be entered into a raffle for a grand prize.

 

CHRISTMAS KOLACHI AND CHRISTMAS BAKE SALE:

We would like to thank Mary Novak, Mary Sinowski and Anna Mamone for baking the delicious Kolachi for our Altar and Rosary Society Bake Sale and to Elaine Chachko for organizing this event. A special thanks also to the wonderful parishioners who baked and/or purchased baked goods in order to make this sale a success.

Reserve your Kolachi now!  Sponsored by the Altar & Rosary Society and GCU Lodge 442 Matching Funds Project, Saturday December 16th and Sunday December 17th following Divine Liturgy will be the annual delicious bake sale.  A sign-up sheet will also be located in the church vestibule. Contributions for other baked desserts are also appreciated.

We will decorate the church for Christmas on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:00 am. A light lunch will be provided. There will be a sign-up sheet in the vestibule.  Everyone is invited to come spend a wonderful morning.

St. Nicholas is looking for a maintenance man to care for the church, rectory, cemetery (not mowing the grass) and the Social hall. The job will be paid hourly.  If anyone is interested, please contact Father Michael.

ANNIVERSARY BLESSING:

This Sunday after liturgy Father Michael will be giving a special blessing to all married couples who are celebrating November anniversaries.

 SANCTUARY CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions. The cost is $10.  The Left is for +Helen Boccio from Karen and Kathy Kollar, and Frank Boccio, and the Right is for the Health and Well-being of recently engaged Bryant Salcedo and Christi Becker from Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Salcedo.

CONDOLENCES:

This past week our beloved parishioner, Eleanor Timko, has passed on.  Her funeral will be held on, Wednesday, November 8th at 10:00 am.  Blessed repose to Eleanor. Our deepest sympathy is extended to her family and friends.

Our thoughts, sympathy and prayers to Dan Magulick, whose mother recently passed away in Florida.
