ROSARY:

The Altar & Rosary Society will be praying the rosary again SUNDAY August 3rd at 8:30 am. Everyone is welcomed.

CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE:

The Archdiocese of Pittsburgh will again honor couples who are celebrating significant year anniversaries of their marriage-10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 or additional years that are multiples of five during 2025. The celebration will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at St. Elias Church. Please call Paula @ (330)799-5983 by August 3rd to sign up. If you are unable to attend, certificates will still be mailed.

CHURCH PICNIC:

ALL parishioners are invited to our annual church picnic on Wednesday, July 30th @ 5:30 in the church pavilion. Meats, condiments and beverages will be provided. Please bring you favorite side dish or dessert.  There is a sign-up in the vestibule. We hope to see everyone there!!!

REMINDER:

Today is St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church 125th Anniversary. Liturgy will be at 3:00pm.

FAITH & FUN DAY FOR ALTAR SERVERS:

The Vocation Office of the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh is sponsoring a Faith & Fun Day for parish altar servers on Monday, August 4th. The day will include Divine Liturgy with Archbishop William, tripto the zoo, and to Turf attack and then a Pirates baseball game at PNC Park. Please let Fr. Michael know ASAP if any altar server would like to attend.

HAPPY BITRHDAY:

Happy Birthday Fr. Michael who is celebrating his 45th birthday today, July 13th. May God bless Fr. Michael with health, happiness and many blessed years!

SISTERS OF ST. BASIL PILGRIMAGE:

Sisters of the Order of St. Basil 91th Annual Pilgrimage will be held Labor Day Weekend at Mount Macrina in Uniontown, Pa. Seeker of the Lost is this year’s pilgrimage.

BLESSING OF THE CARS:

Father Michael will be blessings cars after Weekends liturgies for Elijah the Prophet.

HELP NEEDED

Madeline, a YSU freshman student from Pittsburgh is looking to attend Byzantine Liturgy. If someone would be able to help with picking her up and dropping her off at the YSU campus it would be really appreciated. Please contact Fr. Michael for information.

CANDLES:

The Sanctuary candles will be lit for the entire week for your intentions.
